SIS+
OUR COMMUNITY SERVICE ARM
Our community service initiative, SIS+, operates under the umbrella of Moler Avenue Church. Originally comprising exclusively women, the group's name 'Sisters In Service' (SIS) has recently evolved to 'SIS+' to warmly welcome and encourage men to join them in this important community service effort.
Every year, they organize a birthday party at the Farhney Keedy Assisted Living facility. They create tray favors for the residents there. Additionally, they contribute food and other essentials to the Blessing Box at their church for the local community. During Christmas, they participate in Samaritan's Purse, ensuring children receive gifts. They also donate money to local agencies like the Berkeley County Humane Society and C-Cap's Loaves and Fishes food bank. To celebrate their strong sense of fellowship, they host several Paint Parties within the organization

Youth Programs
We recently set the goal of establishing children and youth programs over the next five years which will empower the younger generation through faith and offer a space for spiritual education and fun in a supportive environment.
You are invited to work with us as we endeavor to build youth programs that will engage children and teenagers in age-appropriate discussions about faith, community service, and personal growth. Together we will endeavor to develop interactive activities, bible study sessions, and community outreach, that will provide a safe and supportive environment for young people enabling them to explore their spirituality and develop strong moral values.

At Moler Avenue Church of the Brethren, our mission with youth initiatives extends beyond education. We will strive to create a supportive community where young people feel valued, heard, and inspired to make a difference. Our programs will aim to help youth to become established and deepened in the Christian faith and encourage them to embrace leadership roles within the church and the wider community. We seek to foster a strong sense of responsibility and a passion for positive change. Join us in developing a youth program that will cultivate the future leaders of our faith and community.
